Please join us in celebrating our incredible principal, Ms. Hopkins, as we recognize her during National Principals Month!
Every single day, Ms. Hopkins leads Westside Primary School with passion, purpose, and a heart dedicated to making a difference. Her leadership extends far beyond the walls of our school, as she continuously empowers our scholars and staff to be the very best versions of themselves while supporting our families in ways that reach well beyond the classroom.
Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our school community never go unnoticed. In fact, Ms. Hopkins was named a 2026 Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals Connected School Leader Award Winner! This incredible recognition is just a small testament to the remarkable leader she is and the lasting impact she makes on the lives of those around her. While awards recognize her accomplishments, it is the difference she makes in the lives of our scholars, staff, and families each and every day that truly defines her leadership.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a principal who not only believes in the potential of every Mustang but works tirelessly to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed.
Ms. Hopkins, we appreciate you, we believe in your vision, and most importantly, we are so grateful to have YOU leading our Mustang family!
When she says, “Mustangs on the Move,” she doesn't just say it, she leads the way, every single day!
Happy National Principals Month! We love and appreciate you, Ms. Hopkins!
